Winter at the yard is one of my favourite times of year. So long as you are wearing the right gear you can enjoy your horses all year round. We’ve got you covered with Ariat’s range of technical garments designed to keep you comfortable no matter the weather.
Wet days?
Those wet days often end up being our toughest ones out on the yard. When you are outside all day in the rain it is essential you are kept dry. Ariat have a great range of riding coats that will keep you dry yet give you the freedom to move in and out of the saddle.

Made from breathable Drymax waterproof construction with a 20,000 performance, this coat means business. What we love about this coat is how lightweight it feels when on and moves with you as you work around the yard. It’s short design suits the professional rider allowing you to get your job done in the saddle. All belongings are kept safe with zippered hand pockets and inside pocket and the removable hood allows you to adjust the coat to suit your needs.
Cold legs be gone!
Any equestrian knows that feeling or lack of feeling should I say in your legs when the wind chill creates a freezing cold thigh. If you haven’t invested in a pair of insualted breeches then now is the time to do so. We love the Ariat Tri Factor Frost Insulated Breeches which have added fleece to keep you warm & toasty in the saddle regardless of temperature.
These breeches offer a fantastic silhouette and the Ariat silicone grip offers optimal grip in the saddle. The snug fit higher waistband keeps your lower back warm which is key in the winter months to keep you toasty.

I am just entering my second season wearing these boots and I absolutely love them. They were quite snug to start with however I knew they would give and after only 2 uses they became like putting on your favourite pair of socks. I love the ‘give’ from the elasticated panel and the footbed/sole mean I am comfortable when I am on my feet all day long. They are a leather boots which is something to consider as you do need to clean the dirt off them regularly and apply a leather conditioner to keep them supple. I just add them on to my weekly tack clean and they look used but ready for more.
