Built for Real‑World Terrain

The Traverse is designed for those who spend long hours on their feet and need a boot that adapts to uneven ground. I was super excited to try these boots often spending many hours on my feet with my ponies and dogs. Having had a previous foot injury, support and comfort are at the top of my list so I knew these boots would be comfortable using Ariat’s ATS® technology.

When I am out at a show with my daughter and especially a pony club rally, it is all go! so having footwear which provides the comfort of a well supported trainer yet you know will be great to hitch up the trailer, tack up the pony and run around a field jumping over cross poles is essential. I find I need a waterproof shoe but boots are too bulky. Whilst I love my Ariat Devon Boots, they just aren’t designed for running!

British weather is… unpredictable. Thankfully, the DRYMax™ waterproof, breathable construction keeps your feet dry without overheating, even in wet or challenging conditions. Rain, puddles, and muddy gateways don’t stand a chance. I find these especially good running around the fields with my daughter on the lead rein, wet grass is no issue and they have fantastic non-slip soles yet the weight of them makes it effortless.

Comfort and designed for all day long

I started out wearing these for pony club rallies, then walked the dog in them and last week I put them in the car for our holiday to Dartmoor. They were perfect for long walks especially up the hilly Devon countryside. A trip to Haytor Rocks proved no problem helping me navigate rocks and slippery terrain yet kept my feet cool and comfortable. My dog likes the mud so will choose a path of mud all day long so I was pleased to discover they have a great sole and feel very rugged even when the going gets a bit muddy.
