Riding Tights Review

First Impressions

The fabric of these tights feels supportive with plenty of stretch. They feel like a cross between a riding breech and a tight. The fabric is soft yet has enough stretch to allow them to move with you. They do require a bit of wriggling to get them on but once pulled up they feel like a second skin. I went for a size 14 and they are true to size offering a high waistband which feels reassuringly supportive.

Woof wear say their riding tights are “Designed for riding in style, offering the perfect fit and great Performance in the saddle. The high waistband and flowing lines give a flattering silhouette in comfortable 4-way stretch fabric”.

I really liked the silhouette they create and the fabric has a soft brushed lining which feels lovely on. Perfect for a spring day of riding and working on the yard.

Comfort all day long…

First job is mucking out and general yard chores, they fit nice and snug making them comfortable tucked in to my wellies. The waistband is wide which stops it rollling down, keeping them secure with no need for me to keep pulling them up.

Riding 

I am 5ft6 and I found these tights are a good length when worn with trainers popping to the shops but equally are perfect with my long socks on and riding boots. They have very grippy silicone knee patches and I felt comfortable hacking, schooling and jumping wearing them. I also really liked the way the waistband hugged my lower back and prevented any chills or gaps between these and my top layers.

Phone Pocket 

I literally want my phone on me at all times and I always take it with me out riding. These tights have large phone pockets which I think any phone would fit (I tried an iphone 10 Max), the pockets are lined with a grip fabric so they hold the phone nice and secure. The pockets are set slightly back which is perfect when you are riding as you do not even feel your phone in them.

Verdict

If you are looking for a supportive riding tight which is comfortable to wear all day long then this is the tight for you. They have washed really well and dry extremely quickly.
