Chigwell Riding Trust Celebrates 60 Years

We are delighted to have supported Chigwell Riding Trust with a voucher for their 60th Anniversary Ball.

We really love supporting our local riding community and it is always so lovely when we are sent details on how the fundraising got on. Manager Deborah Hall MBE sent us the below letter… Amaing work raising Approximately £30,000!

“Dear Sophie,

I hope you don’t mind my being informal.

I am writing to thank you and Ingatestone Saddlery for kindly donating a £50.00p Gift Voucher as a raffle prize at our 60^th Anniversary Ball.  I am sure the recipients will be delighted to use this in due course.  Ingatestone Saddlery is such a wonderful establishment with so much to offer.

I thought the evening went so well, in fact it couldn’t have gone better.  The weather certainly wasn’t helpful for people arriving or leaving but at least it didn’t interfere with the occasion.  For me to see so many riders and volunteers from the past was quite emotional but what really amazed me was the enthusiasm and genuine interest from everyone wanting to help Chigwell Riding Trust.

Because of the generosity of people such as yourself approximately £30,000.00p was raised, which is a phenomenal amount.  I can assure you this money really will make such a difference.

I did say on the night, having been with Chigwell Riding Trust for the past forty-two years and still feeling very passionately about the riding school I truly feel very lucky to have worked with so many wonderful people.

Once again, thank you so much for all your support which is so very much appreciated.
