The Kent & Masters choice of leather is also geared to the comfort of the horse. We select only fine English hides which require little or no breaking-in and make the saddle immediately comfortable for the horse (and, happily, for the rider, too). The panel design, with its notably generous breadth in the middle, provides the optimum contact level over the horse´s back so that there is as much surface contact as possible (for weight distribution) whilst not interfering with shoulder movement or encroaching on to the loins. We use SimaTree saddle trees exclusively as they have guaranteed symmetry which minimizes uneven weight distribution and pressure points. All adult sizes of SimaTree saddle trees feature the Changeable Gulletbar system, girth-straps that can be repositioned to suit the lie of the saddle and other features such as Shimz, all of which enables allows your saddle to be tailored to your horse as if it had been made to measure. Saddle supplied with a medium gullet bar. The width can be changed by purchasing additional R Bar gullets.
